My name is Sharon. Growing up in England, I was fascinated by my Dad's stories of how he managed his small engineering business. This sparked my interest in business, and with a love of maths and numbers, lead me to pursue a career in accountancy.
At the age of 23, I moved to the Perth Hills and embarked on a rewarding career as a tax accountant. For over 20 years I dedicated myself to supporting many business owners with their tax and accounting needs. Additionally, I spent 9 years as a partner in a printing business, where I managed all financial aspects of the business.
These roles have given me a solid understanding of the Australian tax system along with extensive experience in business bookkeeping, payroll, related tax issues and financial management. I have the skills, knowledge and experience to support you wherever you are in your business journey.
I started BAS and Bookkeeping Assistance in 2018 so that I could specialise in helping business owners with their online accounting systems, to keep up to date, accurate business records and to reduce their stress around meeting ATO reporting requirements.
I feel passionate about helping business owners to save time on their business accounting and compliance whilst gaining a better understanding of how their business is performing .
